Brighter Horizons is a not-for-profit arm of Bachlaw Projects.

Brighter Horizons has 2 main strands – local community supports and a global citizen partnership with Nemauku in Zimbabwe.

We recognise the importance of being part of the local community and value the positive connections we have across Banffshire. As part of our commitment to the area, we run a number of sports and activity groups for young people. We also look for gaps in services/ local needs and aim to create programmes or events to meet those needs.

Brighter Horizons have developed a partnership with Nemauku in Zimbabwe. The connection started with sponsoring a small number of students in the primary school and has grown over the years to supporting students through their secondary and Higher education. Groups from Brighter Horizons have visited to offer practical help. We now have a community centre in the village which serves as a co-operative for the community.
