Bachlaw Learning Centre is registered as an independent school. Our fully qualified teachers can provide a curriculum which covers Broad General Education and the full range of National qualifications. The main aim of our school is to help young people fill the gaps in their learning and where possible, prepare them to integrate with mainstream provision. Our individual education plans have a bias towards Literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing but also account for individual interests and talents. We make the best possible use of the outdoor environment to facilitate learning including Forrest schools, horse riding, sports and fitness, horticulture and animal husbandry.
We have high expectations for all our young people and believe that with the right support they can achieve their potential.
